Matrix chat server for TrueCloudLab team

We maintain a private Matrix server for instant messaging between team members at https://chat.frostfs.info.

This instance is not open to the public, you must request access through one of the team members first.

Getting started with Matrix chat

• Make sure that your TrueCloudLab SSO account works
  • Verify that SSO works, e.g. by logging into Gerrit
  • Ask one of TrueCloudLab team members for access to chat.frostfs.info
• Install Element or any other Matrix chat client
  • We recommend Element Classic or Element Web on desktop and FluffyChat on Android
• Choose to connect to a custom Matrix server: chat.frostfs.info (instead of the default matrix.io)
• Click "Continue with TrueCloudLab"
• Complete SSO login in your web browser
  • If you receive "Access Denied" it means that your chat access request has not been approved (yet)
